Principal, Centaurus Consulting and Advocacy
Brendan Curry has been an aerospace and high-tech policy expert for almost twenty-five years. He developed his expertise serving as the Vice President for Washington Operations at the Space Foundation, as a Senior Legislative Assistant on Capitol Hill, and most recently as the Chief of Washington Operations for The Planetary Society. The breadth and depth of Brendan’s capabilities include but are not limited to working with the executive branch departments and agencies, the Congress, industry executives, international decision makers, plus leaders at the state/local levels, non-profits as well as media.
With consensus being crucial to accomplishing goals in Washington D.C., Brendan knows how to proactively engage various stakeholders in a bipartisan manner. This also includes having a comprehensive knowledge of the congressional budget process and schedules as well as understanding how key pieces of legislation can help or hinder a client. Seldom is there an immediate remedy to a challenge and having a multifaceted strategy needs to be developed. Once settled upon, it needs to be implemented, have room for flexibility and keep pace with events. Brendan can help devise such a strategy as well as work along with a client in the implementation of the strategy.
Brendan hails from Pennsylvania and holds an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Scranton and Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. He resides in northern Virginia with his wife and children.
