Eric Ueland is the CEO of Ueland Consulting, where he puts to work his three decades of experience with Washington policy, politics, process, people, and the press to craft solutions for success.

Eric has held multiple senior roles serving in the U.S. government, including service as Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs for President Trump, as well as Deputy Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council. Ueland has also worked as a senior State Department official focused on U.S. foreign assistance spending, international organizations, and civilian security, democracy, and human rights. Ueland also has led the offices of the U.S. Senate Majority Leader and Assistant Majority Leader, and the Senate Budget Committee and the Senate Rules Committee, among other Congressional roles. He built and drove winning coalitions for legislation, across party lines, in both the House and Senate.

Eric  currently serves as Visiting Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, a Commissioner for the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, and a Member of the Board of Advisors at the Center for Constitutional Liberty.
