Stuart Levenbach, PhD, is Principal at Levenbach Natural Resource Policy Solutions, LLC. Stuart has worked in four different offices within the Executive Office of the President across the three different administrations. Most recently he served as the Senior Advisor to the Director at the White House National Economic Council. Stuart also served on the White House Council on Environmental Quality, where he managed production of a historic revision to the regulations implementing the National Environmental Policy Act. Stuart was Chief of Staff for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and worked for 10 years in the White House Office of Management and Budget, including Deputy Branch Chief in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs with responsibility for the Department of the Interior, NOAA, and Army Corps of Engineers. Prior to OMB, Stuart worked on the staff of the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard.
