Brai Odion-Esene is the Founder of SW4 Insights and is an experienced journalist, public policy analyst, and strategic communications advisor. Throughout his career, Brai has led multiple projects to demonstrate the impact of proposed regulations to policymakers and other key stakeholders. These projects have included policy research for case studies, presentations, and white papers to support government relations teams’ engagement with U.S. lawmakers and administration officials. Additionally, Brai has years of experience devising public affairs campaigns around major economic policy initiatives to help organizations effectively tell their story directly to their target audiences. Prior to forming SW4 Insights, Brai was a Senior Director at Hamilton Place Strategies (HPS), where he worked with domestic and international organizations to grow their profile on Capitol Hill by engaging with key stakeholders and managing coalitions, as well as media campaigns. Brai also served as Washington Bureau Manager for Market News International (MNI), a financial news service, where he covered the White House, U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve, and other economic-focused departments and agencies. Brai holds a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a Master’s in Management from Cass Business School in London, and an MBA from Georgetown University.
