Catherine Michael is a Senior Consultant at Trinh Comms, LLC, where she utilizes her nearly 20 years of U.S. Federal and State government, trade association, and private sector strategic communications experience to assist clients with executing multi-faceted, integrated communications programs. Prior to Trinh Comms, Catherine served in communications and public affairs roles in the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Office of Management and Budget, and with the Washington State Senate. Catherine has also worked with major U.S. trade associations as the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), and she was the Vice President of Communications & Marketing at the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA). Catherine can provide clients with an array of services, including management of special launches and announcements, content creation and writing (e.g. pitches, proposals, presentations, or briefings), high-level PR/earned media strategies, and liaising with key partner groups.
