Grace Terpstra is a recognized federal public policy advocate and strategist whose career spans over 40 years in Washington, including professional corporate and association positions, and over 20 years of success as a business owner. Grace has extensive federal government lobbying experience in nearly every arena of public policy, including international trade, tax, employment, transportation, environment, and government purchasing and has worked with all levels of elected officials, business leaders, and non-profit organizations. Grace has played an integral role in building coalitions and associations as well as managing numerous issue advocacy and lobbying campaigns. Some of her clients have included the American Forest & Paper Association, National Hardwood Lumber Association, the Georgia-Pacific Corporation, James River Corporation, Biomass Thermal Energy Corporation, and Outdoor Power Equipment Institute. Prior to Terpstra Associates, Grace served as an in-house lobbyist for Scott Paper for 10 years. Grace received the Mississippi Forestry Association’s 2005 President’s Citation for her efforts in securing government response and relief to Mississippi forest owners in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
