Hallie Mason, Owner of Mason Consulting, has over 20 years of experience working with the West Virginia state government, including 14 years of service in the West Virginia State Legislature and as Policy Director to a former Governor. Through Mason Consulting, Hallie represents clients’ interests on a wide range of bi-partisan policy issues, including appropriations, government procurement, and regulatory issues in both the West Virginia state legislative and executive branches. During her time in West Virginia state government, Hallie advised on the development of the state budget, as well as on public education, health, and energy policy issues. Hallie also served for nine years as Senior Budget Analyst in the West Virginia House of Delegates Committee on Finance, where she evaluated West Virginia executive branch budgetary proposals, directed the grant allocation and disbursement process, reviewed proposed legislation for potential fiscal impact, and advised on fiscal policy.
