Mark Tomb serves as Principal of TTG Consulting, through which he advocates for clients in the national security, cybersecurity and Information technology areas and provides strategic counsel and direct advocacy with Members of Congress and the Administration. Most recently, Mark served as Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. In this role, Mark oversaw the formulation of strategy and coordinated national security policy within the Department of Defense, with a budget of more than $4.75 billion and over 1200 individuals worldwide. Previously, Mark spent fifteen years as an executive in the IT industry, during which he led government relations efforts for the largest Department of Defense (DOD) Information technology contract to date. Mark successfully developed and implemented three congressional campaigns to retain that contract. Mark is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and had a distinguished twenty-year career with the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Commander and included tours of duty in both the Navy’s Office of Legislative Affairs and the Office of the Secretary of Defense – Legislative Affairs.
