Seth Bloom is the President and Founder of Bloom Strategic Counsel PLLC. Mr. Bloom is an attorney who leverages his extensive governmental and private sector experience to advise clients on antitrust and competition law. Mr. Bloom possesses substantial experience with the critical regulatory and competition issues facing key industries including telecommunications, media and high tech, transportation and aviation, and health care. Since beginning the firm in 2013, Mr. Bloom has become a leading Washington attorney in representing companies on large and complex merger transactions, particularly before Congress. For instance, Mr. Bloom represented Sprint in connection with the T-Mobile/Sprint merger and Amazon in the Amazon/Whole Foods merger. Mr. Bloom has also represented companies with respect to other antitrust issues, including concerns that Google had been involved in anticompetitive conduct. Prior to founding Bloom Strategic Counsel PLLC, Mr. Bloom served as staff for nearly 14 years in the U.S. Senate Antitrust Subcommittee, the last four of which he served as General Counsel. Prior to this, he spent three years as a trial attorney at the U.S. Justice Department Antitrust Division’s Merger Task Force.
